Inner City Outreach wanted to update its website to highlight its work in the community, share upcoming events, and get new volunteers and potential donors plugged into its programs. Prior to this, its previous online presence consisted of cluttered, dark-themed pages. First, I compiled and organized photos and updated written content. I divided information into three main categories (Who We Are, What We Do, Get Involved), as well as created sub-categories. Lastly, I chose a clean and easy-to-navigate design to help display the new content. The end result was a simple and effective site with components that their in-house team was able to update themselves.

The challenge for any non-profit group is connecting with its supporters and donor base who are not always able to physically see the work that is being done on a daily basis. I created a series of promotional postcards mailed to donors and supporters. The kids themselves were asked to write a personal note at the back.

Project brief
Inner City Outreach, a non-profit that serves the Jane and Finch neighbourhood in Toronto, was re-launching their organization and needed a cohesive look and feel to their brand.
